Prof.Dr.Mesut Birol ATAY He graduated from Ankara University Faculty of Medicine. After graduation, he completed his specialty education in the Department of Physical Therapy and Rehabilitation at Ankara University Faculty of Medicine. 
After his specialization, he worked as a specialist physician in Germany for a while. After his post in Germany, Dr. Atay returned to the Department of Physical Therapy and Rehabilitation at Ankara University Faculty of Medicine, where he received the title of Associate Professor and then Professor. Dr. Atay, who was elected as the Head of the Department of Physical Therapy and Rehabilitation, retired after serving as president for 3 terms and continued his career in various special Physical Therapy and Rehabilitation centers. During his career, he has contributed to many scientific publications, mostly international, and has contents such as interviews and interviews in various printed, visual media materials. Dr. Atay, who has carried out many social activities, served as a Professor Representative of the Faculty Board for a period and for a long time as president of the Turkish Rheumatism Research and Control Association.
