Prof. Dr. Hatice Rana ERDEM

Born in Ankara in 1959, she graduated from Ankara University Faculty of Medicine in 1982. She completed specialist training in physical medicine and rehabilitation at Ankara Training and Research Hospital in 1988, continued as a senior registrar and became deputy clinic chief in 1992. Following EMG training at the GATA Department of Neurology in 1994, she established her hospital’s neurophysiology laboratory. She became an associate professor in 1996 and head of the rehabilitation clinic in 2000. She received European Board certification in 2008 and subspecialist recognition in pain medicine in 2011. At Ahi Evran University she became a professor in 2013 and served as head of Internal Medical Sciences, head of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, and director of the rehabilitation school. In 2019 she joined Yüksek İhtisas University as a professor and directed its ageing studies centre. She has worked at FizyoCare since October 2022. She was included in the AD Scientific Index 2024 list of scientists.
